Environmental security arrests citizen for illegal grazing in Imam Turki bin Abdullah Reserve

The Special Forces for Environmental Security have detained a citizen for violating environmental regulations by grazing 15 camels in prohibited areas within the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve. Legal measures have been taken against the offender.

The forces stated that the penalty for grazing camels is a fine of 500 riyals (SAR) per animal. They urged the public to report any violations against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other parts of the Kingdom. All reports will be handled confidentially, and informants will not be held liable.
