Saudi authorities arrest man for cannabis trafficking in Northern Borders

The General Directorate of Narcotics Control has arrested a Saudi citizen in the Northern Borders region for allegedly trafficking cannabis.

According to a statement posted on the directorate's official X account, the suspect has been detained, legal procedures have been initiated, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Authorities urged the public to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities. Residents in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province can call 911, while those in other regions should dial 999.
