Saudi, Indian ministers discuss strengthening bilateral ties in Riyadh

Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy, received Kirti Vardhan Singh, India's Minister of State for External Affairs, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, on Wednesday at the ministry headquarters in Riyadh.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and India across various fields, with a particular focus on environmental issues.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international environmental challenges and discussed measures to mitigate the effects of climate change.

The ministers discussed Saudi Arabia's efforts and initiatives in environmental protection and combating climate change, emphasizing the importance of joint cooperation to achieve environmental sustainability goals.
