Border Guard in Asir arrests five Ethiopians for smuggling 100 kg of khat

Land patrols with the Border Guard in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested five Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 100 kilograms of khat.

Initial legal procedures were completed, and both the detainees and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, as well as via email at [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
