Cabinet approves transfer of digital real estate notarization services

The Saudi Cabinet, in a session held today in Jeddah and chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, approved the transfer of digital and operational services directly related to real estate notarization to the General Real Estate Authority.

The decision includes moving digital and operational services that are a core part of the integrated real estate system—such as technical infrastructure, operational teams, and data—to the General Real Estate Authority within six months.

The services to be transferred include the Real Estate Exchange platform, its mobile application, the comprehensive system, the data indexing system, the document digitization system, and the basic data entry system.

During the session, the Cabinet also reviewed items on its agenda, including those studied jointly with the Shoura Council, as well as outcomes from the Councils of Political and Security Affairs, Economic and Development Affairs, the Cabinet's General Committee, and the Bureau of Experts.

The Cabinet further approved a one-year extension requiring parties to seek an amicable settlement at the Labor Office before filing a labor lawsuit in court.

Additionally, the Cabinet approved the final accounts for the previous two fiscal years for the Electricity and Cogeneration Regulatory Authority, the General Food Security Authority, the National Risk Council, the National Program for Community Development in Regions, the National Program for IT Sector Development, and for Umm Al-Qura University and Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.
