Saudi Arabia to open first high school for gifted students in advanced industries

Education specialist Emad Al-Sharif announced that Saudi Arabia’s first high school for gifted students in advanced industries will open at the start of the new academic year. He noted that this school is the first educational model in the Kingdom to connect talent with industry, targeting graduates of intermediate school.

Speaking in a phone interview with Al-Ikhbariya Radio, Al-Sharif explained that the program combines general education with hands-on training and industrial partnerships. Priority admission will be given to students with a passion for innovation, based on tests and evaluations to be announced later.

Al-Sharif added that the admission track for gifted students will feature a specialized curriculum, project-based learning, and access to advanced laboratories. The program will also include practical applications, field visits to the industrial sector, professional certifications, and specialized skills training for advanced industries.
