Riyadh Royal Commission opens real estate balance program applications until September 2026

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has begun accepting applications for the second year of its Real Estate Balance Program through its official online platform, with the application window open until Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

In a post on its X account, the commission invited citizens interested in benefiting from the program to apply online and ensure they meet the eligibility requirements. These include being a Saudi national, being married or over 25 years old, not owning property previously, and having resided in Riyadh for at least three years.

The commission confirmed that registration is open to all eligible applicants throughout the application period, and that priority is not based on the order of registration. All applications will undergo electronic verification according to approved regulations. The program stages will later include eligibility verification, announcement of results, handling objections, conducting an electronic draw for eligible applicants, and completing ownership procedures.

The commission clarified that citizens who applied in the first year and were found eligible but did not receive entitlement do not need to reapply, as their data is already recorded and included in the platform. However, those who were not deemed eligible last year must reapply after meeting the necessary requirements.

The Real Estate Balance Program is part of the commission’s efforts to enhance balance in the capital’s housing market and enable eligible citizens to purchase planned residential land at reasonable prices through organized and transparent electronic mechanisms.
