The Ministry of Energy has announced the conclusion of the first cohort of the 'Taqatak Accelerator' program, which aimed to support entrepreneurship and foster innovation in the energy sector. The program saw the participation of 21 startups working to develop technological and innovative solutions throughout its phases.

The program included 65 advisory sessions, 50 meetings between startups and investors, and 41 specialized workshops, with the involvement of 13 enabling partners to support the innovation ecosystem in the sector.

The program journey spanned four main stages: planning and development, recruitment and selection, acceleration, and graduation day, all designed to empower startups to advance their projects and enhance their readiness for growth.

The program also featured a range of supportive activities, including specialized workshops for participants, advanced advisory, legal and technical sessions, direct communication channels with companies, universities and research centers, as well as investment rounds with investors interested in the energy sector.
