Eastern Province governor reviews Saudi Red Crescent endowment project

Eastern Province Governor Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz was briefed on Wednesday on the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s 'Ambulance Endowment Fund' project during a meeting with Dr. Khalid Al-Anazi, director general of the authority’s Eastern Province branch, at his office in Dammam.

Governor Saud bin Nayef emphasized that ambulance services are a fundamental part of the healthcare and humanitarian system, playing a vital role in emergency response and saving lives. He highlighted the importance of initiatives that ensure the sustainability and advancement of ambulance operations.

Dr. Khalid Al-Anazi presented an overview of the Ambulance Endowment Fund’s objectives, noting that the authority aims to achieve financial sustainability and enhance emergency medical and humanitarian services across the Kingdom through the project.

Al-Anazi added that the project serves as a foundation for securing sustainable resources to support ambulance services, upgrade emergency medical technologies, and expand humanitarian efforts in the Eastern Province.

The director general expressed his gratitude to the governor for his ongoing support and guidance for the branch’s activities and initiatives.
