Defense minister calls for collective deterrence against Houthi attacks

Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman said the emergency meeting of the Political and Defense Strategy Committee of the Makkah Defense Alliance demonstrates the solidarity of alliance members and their unified stance against criminal attacks.

He noted that these attacks have targeted Saudi Arabia and the holy sites, stressing the importance of activating collective deterrence against such assaults and those behind them.

He added that this collective deterrence, under the framework of the Makkah Defense Alliance, will strengthen the security of Saudi Arabia and member states.
