The National Center of Meteorology has forecast thunderstorms with hail and strong winds on Wednesday in parts of Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan, extending to areas of Najran.

According to the report, temperatures will remain hot to extremely hot in the Eastern Province and parts of Riyadh and Madinah. Active winds raising dust and sand will continue to affect these areas, as well as parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, and the eastern sections of the western and southwestern highlands.

The report added that surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly in the north and northwesterly to southwesterly in the central part at speeds of 5–45 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly at 12–34 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h with thunderclouds in the south. Wave heights will range from 1 to 2 meters in the north, 1 to 2 meters and up to 2.5 meters in the central part during early morning hours, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters, exceeding 2 meters with thunderclouds in the south. Sea conditions will be light to moderate, becoming rough in the central part and with thunderclouds in the south.

Winds over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly at 15–30 km/h, with wave heights from 0.5 to 1.5 meters and sea conditions light to moderate.
