The General Directorate of Border Guard has called on beachgoers across the Kingdom to comply with marine safety guidelines, avoid swimming in unauthorized areas, supervise children while at the beach, and take necessary precautions to ensure everyone’s safety.

In a statement on its X platform account, the directorate said it has mobilized all its human and technical resources to enhance safety measures, intensifying marine patrols and search and rescue teams, ensuring the readiness of marine vessels and safety equipment, and obtaining the required permits before sailing.

The Border Guard also urged everyone to adhere to maritime regulations and instructions, and to call 911 in Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, or 994 in other regions of the Kingdom, in case of emergencies.
