The event was attended by Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Chairman of the company’s board, along with several officials and aviation sector partners.

Chief Executive Officer Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Zaid reviewed the company’s journey over the past decade, highlighting rapid advancements in operational and technical capabilities, expansion in digital innovation, and ongoing efforts to develop national talent and enhance sustainability. He noted these achievements align with the Kingdom’s ambitions and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Al-Zaid emphasized that these milestones serve as a launchpad for the next phase, in which the company will continue to develop air navigation services, leverage emerging technologies, strengthen integration with partners, boost operational efficiency, and reinforce a culture of safety and excellence, supporting Saudi Arabia’s status as a global aviation hub.

The review also covered the company’s establishment in 2016 as a specialized national operator responsible for managing air traffic and providing air navigation services across Saudi airspace with efficiency and reliability.

From 2017 to 2020, the company focused on operational safety in line with international standards, enhancing airspace efficiency, developing services, building employee capabilities, achieving financial independence, and strengthening stakeholder relations.

Between 2021 and 2024, the company expanded its operations and adopted modern technologies to increase capacity and operational efficiency, while promoting research and innovation and balancing operational performance with environmental and social responsibility. In 2023, the company managed over 720,000 air traffic movements from the start of the year through early September.

During the ceremony, Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer Eng. Ahmed Al-Zahrani outlined the company’s future vision, focusing on developing the air navigation system to keep pace with next-generation technologies, expanding subsidiary operations, and transforming research and development outputs into operational solutions.

Future directions include developing a forward-looking concept for Saudi airspace, expanding advanced air mobility solutions, introducing virtual control towers, managing unmanned aircraft traffic, and furthering research and development, as well as building specialized national capabilities and leadership in air navigation services.

The launch of the new corporate identity comes as the company’s operations and responsibilities grow, unifying the presence of air navigation system companies under one institutional umbrella and supporting the sector’s expansion.

Corporate Communications General Manager Omar Faden explained that the new identity reflects the interconnectedness and complementary roles of the air navigation system companies, embodying their shared strategic direction. He noted it is based on values of reliability and professionalism, with flexibility to adapt to the sector’s evolution and diversity.
