Riyadh governorate achieves full compliance with 2025 energy efficiency standards

Riyadh governorate has achieved a 100% score on the 2025 energy efficiency performance card issued by the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center (Kafa'a), reflecting its commitment to implementing best practices in energy efficiency, promoting sustainability, and conserving resources in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

This marks the second consecutive year that the governorate has attained this result, after meeting all evaluation requirements and standards. The achievement follows directives from Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, underscoring the effectiveness of the governorate's energy management system and its adherence to approved standards in the field.

Riyadh governorate has adopted a range of innovative practices to improve performance and optimize resource consumption, aiming to enhance energy use efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and foster a culture of sustainability, further supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
