Saudi Arabia records one hour of dust storms on September 4

The Regional Center for Dust and Sandstorms reported that Saudi Arabia experienced one hour of dust storm conditions on Friday, September 4, 2026.

In a post on its X account, the center noted that a total of 42 hours of dust storms were recorded across the region.

According to the center, Iran saw 25 hours, the UAE 9 hours, Uzbekistan 10 hours, Jordan 4 hours, the UAE an additional 2 hours, and Saudi Arabia 1 hour. No dust storm hours were recorded in other countries in the region.
