Sudan condemns attack on Saudi East-West oil pipeline, voices support

Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has strongly condemned the recent attack targeting Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline, describing it as a criminal act. The ministry affirmed Sudan’s unequivocal rejection of attacks on civilian, vital, and economic facilities, stressing that such acts are a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty and pose a serious threat to the Kingdom’s security and stability.

In an official statement posted on its X account, the ministry expressed Sudan’s full solidarity and support for Saudi Arabia.

The Sudanese foreign ministry reiterated Saudi Arabia’s right to protect its security, sovereignty, and resources, emphasizing that such attacks represent a dangerous and unacceptable escalation that threatens regional peace and security.

According to the statement, Sudan reaffirmed its rejection of all forms of aggression and escalation, calling for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, and for the protection of their security, resources, and vital infrastructure.
