Dense fog and light rain to reduce visibility in Eastern Province

The National Center for Meteorology warned today of a dense fog wave affecting the Eastern Province, including the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, and several governorates such as Khafji, Qaryat Al Ulya, Nairyah, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Qatif, Khobar, Buqayq, Al Ulayyid, Al Ahsa, Al Hajr, and their affiliated centers.

The center explained that this condition causes horizontal visibility to drop to one kilometer or less, especially on highways and open areas, and is expected to continue until 8 a.m.

In Hafr Al Batin governorate, the center pointed to light rain accompanied by strong winds, leading to dust stirring and reduced horizontal visibility, noting that this condition will last until 11 p.m.
