Commercial Transactions Law marks major step in legislative reform: lawyer

Lawyer and legal advisor Fahd Abu Hassan said the Commercial Transactions Law represents a major step forward in developing the legislative environment.

Speaking to Al Ekhbariya Radio, he added that the issuance of the Commercial Transactions Law is an important milestone in the ongoing development of Saudi Arabia’s legislative framework in recent years.

He noted that the law builds on recent legislative reforms in the Kingdom under the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, highlighting its importance in modernizing commercial regulations to keep pace with the significant growth in economic activity and the increasing diversity of commercial transactions and contracts.

Abu Hassan also stated that the law enhances legal certainty, ensuring that business owners and investors are fully aware of their rights, obligations, and the legal consequences of their dealings.
