Education minister: renaming Saudi Electronic University honors Prince Musaad’s legacy

Education Minister Yousef Al-Benyan expressed his gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman following the royal directive to rename Saudi Electronic University as Prince Musaad bin Abdulrahman University.

He said the decision reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to advancing its education sector and strengthening the role of academic institutions in nation-building, while also honoring the country’s history and national figures.

Al-Benyan added that naming the university after Prince Musaad bin Abdulrahman is a tribute to his national contributions and preserves the legacy of a key statesman whose career was closely linked to important stages in Saudi Arabia’s development and the evolution of its institutions.
