Border Guard in Asir arrests Ethiopian for smuggling 60 kg of khat

Border Guard land patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested an Ethiopian national for violating border security regulations by smuggling 60 kilograms of khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed, and the suspect and seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, as well as via email at [email protected].
