Environmental violator apprehended in Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve

The Special Forces for Environmental Security have apprehended a citizen for violating environmental regulations by driving his vehicle into the wild meadows and grasslands of the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve. Legal procedures have been taken against him.

The forces stated that the penalty for driving vehicles into protected wild meadows and grasslands can reach 2,000 riyals (SAR). They urged the public to report any incidents that threaten the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other regions of the Kingdom. Authorities confirmed that all reports will be treated with complete confidentiality and that informants will bear no responsibility.
