Ethiopian national arrested in Jazan for smuggling 100 kg of khat

Border Guard ground patrols in the Al-Dayer sector of Jazan region have arrested an Ethiopian national for violating border security regulations by smuggling 100 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

According to a statement on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed, and the suspect and the seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom.
