Targeting holy sites will bring downfall, says Prophet’s Mosque imam

Sheikh Saleh Al-Moghamsy, imam and preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque, said that anyone who seeks to harm the city of the Prophet will not be granted respite or authority by God.

Speaking in an interview with Al-Ekhbariya TV, Al-Moghamsy stressed that the Houthis, through their actions, have brought destruction and ruin upon themselves. He explained that the group deliberately targets religious sanctities and facilities serving the Prophet’s Mosque.

He described these acts as a violation of the sanctity of the sites and a provocation to Muslims around the world.

Al-Moghamsy added that throughout history, wars have always had motives and objectives, emphasizing the importance of understanding the reasons and aims behind conflicts.
