Qassim University yesterday launched the "2026 Summer of Innovation" program, organized by the Center for Innovation and Intellectual Property in cooperation with the Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Chair for Artificial Intelligence and the Chair for Emerging Technologies. The program is being held at the university’s main campus in Buraidah and will run for three weeks.

More than 500 participants, including university students, recent graduates, and those interested in technology and innovation, have joined the program. It aims to equip them with practical skills in innovation, entrepreneurship, and future technologies, as well as enhance their readiness to contribute to the knowledge economy.

Six specialized tracks

The program offers a comprehensive training experience across six specialized tracks: entrepreneurship, AI agents, AI-based programming (Vibe Coding), e-learning, emerging technologies, and digital manufacturing and modeling. It combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on applications under the supervision of a group of specialists and experts.

Supporting innovation and Vision 2030

Organizers explained that the launch of the program builds on the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, with support from the university president. The initiative aims to provide a stimulating environment for creativity and deliver high-quality programs to prepare national talent, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives to develop human capital and support a knowledge- and innovation-based economy.
