The National Center for Meteorology has warned that dust-raising winds will persist in several regions of the Kingdom.

In a statement on X, the center said these dusty winds are expected to continue from Sunday through the end of the week, particularly affecting highways.

In its daily weather report, the center also forecast moderate to heavy thunderstorms, which may cause flash floods, accompanied by hail and strong winds in parts of Jazan and Asir. Lighter to moderate rainfall is expected in areas of Najran, Al-Baha, and the southern highlands of Makkah.

Temperatures will remain hot to extremely hot in the Eastern Province and parts of Riyadh, Qassim, and the Northern Borders. Dust-raising winds will also impact areas of Madinah and Makkah, potentially reducing visibility to near zero along coastal areas, with effects extending to the coastal road to Jazan.
