Saudi Arabia condemns attacks on Kurdistan region targeting prime minister's office

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the attacks on Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, which targeted the office of the region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, describing them as a blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s complete rejection of all hostile acts targeting official and political figures, as well as any actions that threaten the security of Iraqi state institutions or undermine the country’s stability.

The ministry added that Saudi Arabia reiterates its firm stance against all forms of interference in the internal affairs of other countries or violations of their sovereignty, stressing the importance of respecting the principles of good neighborliness and international law.
