Weather analyst Aqeel Al-Aqeel from the National Center for Meteorology has forecast that the Eastern Province—particularly Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Ahsa, and some eastern coastal areas—will experience the highest temperatures in Saudi Arabia during the summer.

Speaking on the "Ya Hala" program on Rotana Khalijia, Al-Aqeel said the Eastern Province is expected to be most affected by rising temperatures, as hot summer conditions persist across several regions of the Kingdom.

These forecasts coincide with a report issued Monday by the National Center for Meteorology, which noted that hot to extremely hot weather will continue in the Eastern Province, as well as large parts of Riyadh, Madinah, and Makkah regions.

The center explained that active surface winds raising dust and sand will affect parts of the Eastern Province, extending to Riyadh, Madinah, and Makkah, in addition to areas in the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk.

It added that wind activity may lead to near-zero horizontal visibility, especially along the coastal road to Jazan, with dust and sand continuing to affect western and southwestern regions. The center urged caution, particularly for road users.
