Heavy rain and strong winds forecast for Jazan region

The National Center for Meteorology issued a weather alert on Monday for moderate to heavy rainfall across the Jazan region, including the city of Jazan and several governorates, with conditions expected to persist until 9 p.m.

The center said the weather system will bring strong winds, near-zero horizontal visibility, hail, flash flooding, and thunderstorms.

The warning covers the governorates of Al-Harth, Al-Daer (Bani Malik), Al-Rayth, Al-Aridhah, Al-Aydabi, Fayfa, Harub, Al-Tuwal, Samtah, Ahad Al-Masarhah, Abu Arish, Dhamad, Sabya, Al-Darb, and Baish, as well as the Al-Fateha center.

The center urged residents to exercise caution, especially in areas affected by the changing weather, and to follow instructions issued by relevant authorities.
