Jazan governor honors three citizens for organ donations

Jazan Governor Mohammed bin Abdulaziz on Monday honored citizens Majid bin Mohammed Zeilayi, Asim bin Ahmed Rifai, and Mohammed bin Jaber Mousa Al-Raithi in recognition of their humanitarian initiative to donate parts of their organs (liver and kidneys), giving patients a new lease on life.

The governor emphasized that organ donation is among the highest forms of human generosity, reflecting the noble values and spirit of solidarity that characterize the people of the Kingdom, and contributes to saving lives and easing the suffering of patients.

He also praised the attention and support given by the Kingdom’s leadership to the health sector and to promoting a culture of organ donation, which supports quality of life goals and helps raise community awareness about the importance of such humanitarian initiatives.

The donors expressed their gratitude to the governor for the recognition, affirming that their actions stemmed from a sense of humanitarian and national duty.
