Border guards arrest two Yemenis for smuggling 140 kg of khat in Asir

Saudi Border Guard land patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested two Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 140 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

According to a statement posted on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both they and the seized contraband have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or (999) and (994) in other regions of the Kingdom.
