Joint Forces chief meets Yemen's Tariq Saleh to discuss military readiness

Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamad Al-Salman, met today at the Joint Forces Command headquarters in Riyadh with Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh, member of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council and commander of the National Resistance Forces.

During the meeting, they reviewed recent developments in Yemen and discussed ways to strengthen and coordinate joint efforts to support the readiness of the Yemeni armed forces across all fronts, with the aim of restoring the state and its national institutions.

Lieutenant General Al-Salman expressed his appreciation to Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh for his leadership role in the Presidential Leadership Council and his command of the National Resistance Forces, praising the significant sacrifices made by the resistance and its members in the battle to restore the state and end the coup.

For his part, Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh commended the leadership of the Joint Forces and their unwavering support for the Yemeni armed forces and the National Resistance Forces to enhance their capabilities, valuing the ongoing efforts to unify ranks and rehabilitate the forces to fulfill their national duties.

He affirmed his confidence in the members of the Yemeni armed forces and their steadfast determination to carry out their national responsibilities, stressing the importance of overcoming this phase and continuing to strengthen readiness, coordination, and integration of efforts to meet the requirements of the coming period.

Both sides emphasized the importance of unity, joint efforts, and complementary roles, as well as continued coordination and cooperation to boost morale, contribute to the rehabilitation of units, and enhance combat readiness in the battle to restore the state and its institutions, fulfilling the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, stability, and a better future.
