Egypt condemns attacks on Saudi pipeline as violation of international law

Egypt has condemned the attacks that targeted a pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the attacks on Saudi Arabia were described as a blatant violation of international law and a threat to the security and stability of the region.

Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support in confronting anything that threatens the Kingdom’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

A source at the Ministry of Energy earlier stated that the East-West pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions was targeted several times on the morning of Thursday, September 10, 2026. The pipeline was shut down as a precaution, and several people were injured in the attacks. Medical care was provided to those affected.
