French falcon breeder: Riyadh falcon farms auction a global economic and social hub

Philippe Hertel, a French owner of a falcon breeding farm, said the International Falcon Breeders Auction continues to strengthen its position each year as a global economic and social gathering point for producers and falconers from across the world.

Hertel noted that the ongoing development of the auction has made it a major international event that he is keen to attend regularly. He praised the efforts of the National Center for Falcons and the support it provides to farms and participants, adding that the auction's comprehensive organization has boosted its international profile and attracted breeders, falconers, and buyers from many countries.

He explained that this is his sixth participation since the auction began, emphasizing his commitment to attending annually due to the unique opportunities it offers to breeders and falconers. He said the volume of sales reflects the strength of the market and the trust the auction enjoys.

About the International Auction

The National Center for Falcons is organizing the International Falcon Breeders Auction of the current year at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, with participation from leading local and international falcon breeding farms. The auction runs for 21 days, continuing until August 25 of the current year.

The auction serves as a specialized platform bringing together falcon breeding farms, falconers, and buyers in a fully organized environment. Farms can showcase their birds in dedicated pavilions and take part in live competitive auctions, offering buyers a wide range of distinguished breeds and top-quality falcons.
