Jazan Border Guard arrests nine Ethiopians for smuggling 240 kg of khat

Land patrols from the Border Guard in Al-Daer sector, Jazan region, have arrested nine Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 240 kilograms of khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed, and both the detainees and the seized narcotics have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995.
