Mohammed Al-Ajlan, vice chairman of Ajlan & Bros Group and chairman of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council, extended his warmest congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, and the Saudi people on the occasion of Saudi National Day.

Al-Ajlan said: “Celebrating National Day is a tribute to a nation’s story that began with the unification of its land and people, followed by building institutions, developing the economy, and investing in its citizens. Today, Saudi Arabia has reached a stage where development is a continuous project—never satisfied with past achievements, always looking toward what can be accomplished in the future.”

He added: “Under the leadership of King Salman and with the support and guidance of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Kingdom has witnessed significant economic and developmental transformations in recent years. These changes have strengthened its regional and international standing and opened vast opportunities for the private sector to help shape the future. The role of business leaders now goes beyond commercial activity to contributing to development, creating jobs, advancing sectors, attracting investment, raising competitiveness, and actively building a more diverse and sustainable economy.”

Al-Ajlan stressed that, from his experience in the business sector, the current phase requires greater responsibility and awareness of the opportunities available. True growth is not measured by the size of projects alone, but by their sustainability, the value they add to the economy and society, their commitment to efficiency, quality, and governance, and their ability to create lasting impact for years to come.

He continued: “Saudi Arabia has proven that ambition, when backed by a clear vision, effective management, and real investment in people, can become tangible reality. The ongoing development in infrastructure, economic and technological sectors, tourism, services, industry, and more, confirms that the Kingdom is not only building its present but also laying the foundations for future generations.”

He pointed out that, in this context, the private sector has a key responsibility to keep pace with this transformation. The opportunities of this era are not just privileges, but commitments that require hard work, higher efficiency, developing national talent, embracing innovation, and building organizations capable of competing both locally and globally.

He affirmed that investing in Saudi talent will remain one of the most important factors for the success of any development journey. No matter how large the projects or diverse the resources, goals can only be achieved through capable and skilled people. Therefore, empowering young men and women, providing productive work environments, transferring knowledge and expertise, and opening doors for national talent are investments in the future of the economy before being investments in any specific project.

Al-Ajlan concluded: “We take pride in the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and in the national and developmental achievements realized under their leadership, which reflect the Kingdom’s ambition and advanced standing. Continuing the journey of nation-building and development is a shared responsibility that requires strengthening institutional values, commitment, excellence, and enhancing the private sector’s contribution to supporting the national economy and achieving development goals.”

He prayed for God to protect the King and Crown Prince, and to grant the Kingdom continued security, stability, prosperity, and further progress.
