The spokesperson for the National Center for Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, has forecast that most regions of Saudi Arabia will experience temperatures above seasonal averages as August begins, marking the final month of summer.

Al-Qahtani explained on his X platform account that rainfall is also expected to be below average in Jazan, Al-Baha, and parts of Tabuk, Madinah, Makkah, Asir, Najran, and the Eastern Province, while rainfall in other regions is likely to be around normal levels.

He added that wind speeds across most regions of the Kingdom will be higher than usual during the same period.
