Falcon breeding auction sees steady growth, says farm owner

Khaled Al-Qahtani, a falcon breeder and farm owner, said the falcon auction is witnessing continuous growth.

Speaking in an interview aired on Al Ekhbariya TV, Al-Qahtani added that the number of visitors to the International Falcon Breeding Farms Auction is rising, and that competitive prices have been set to support future falconers.

He noted that interest in the auction increases year after year, with dedicated sections for auction birds, future falcons, and young falconers. This, he said, aims to develop the hobby and ensure the heritage improves each year.

The International Falcon Breeding Farms Auction is organized by the National Center for Falcons at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event supports the growth of the falconry-related economy, serving as a platform that brings together breeding farms, falconers, and investors.
