Environmental Security seizes citizen for transporting local firewood in Imam Faisal bin Turki Reserve

The Special Forces for Environmental Security apprehended a citizen for violating environmental regulations by transporting 15 cubic meters of local firewood in the Imam Faisal bin Turki Royal Reserve. Legal measures were taken against the individual, and the seized firewood was handed over to the relevant authorities.

The forces clarified that the penalty for transporting local firewood or charcoal can reach 16,000 riyals (SAR) per cubic meter. They urged the public to report any violations against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other regions of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality, and informants will bear no liability.
