Khuta exhibition in Dawadmi equips 1,149 students with over 10,000 school items

The Dawadmi Charity Association, Thiqah, has concluded the Khuta exhibition, organized in partnership with the Kiswat Farah Association. Over seven days, the event equipped 1,149 students from beneficiary families across all educational levels with more than 10,000 new items, including clothing, bags, and various school supplies.

The exhibition offered a comprehensive shopping-style experience, allowing families to choose items that best suited their children, preserving their privacy and dignity while enhancing the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

The new supplies included more than 800 thobes, over 800 school uniforms, and more than 1,700 bags, all fully stocked with essentials such as pens, notebooks, exercise books, coloring sets, and other necessary school tools for students.

More than 100 female volunteers from the Thiqah volunteer team helped operate the exhibition, contributing over 1,500 volunteer hours. They assisted in welcoming beneficiaries, facilitating the selection process, improving operational efficiency, and raising satisfaction with the services offered.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Babtain, Governor of Dawadmi and honorary president of Thiqah, who reviewed the preparations and the dignified experience provided to families, allowing them the freedom to choose their children's needs.

The Khuta exhibition aims to ease the financial burden on beneficiary families, prepare their children for a stable academic start, boost their self-confidence, and promote values of solidarity and social responsibility, while strengthening effective partnerships in support of education.

The exhibition is part of the ongoing partnership between Thiqah and Kiswat Farah, which previously resulted in the Kiswat Farah exhibition during Ramadan to prepare for Eid Al-Fitr, providing a similar experience that allowed families to choose their needs and enhanced the impact of social services offered.
