Umrah guests visit Mount Uhud, Martyrs' Cemetery and Quba Mosque in Madinah

Participants in the second group of the King Salman Program for Umrah and Visit, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, visited Mount Uhud, the Martyrs' Cemetery, and Quba Mosque yesterday. The visits were part of a religious and cultural program prepared for the guests during their stay in Madinah, before they travel to Makkah to perform Umrah rituals.

During their visit to Mount Uhud and the Martyrs' Cemetery, the guests received an explanation about the Battle of Uhud, which took place in the third year after the Hijrah. They learned about the key events and locations of the battle, listened to guidance on the proper etiquette for visiting cemeteries, and stood at the site where the historic battle occurred, reflecting on its lessons and significance.

The guests also visited Quba Mosque, where they performed two units of prayer following the example of the Prophet Muhammad. They toured the mosque's facilities, observed its expansions and developments, and learned about the services provided to visitors.

The guests expressed their admiration for what they saw at Quba Mosque, listening to a brief overview of its virtues and historical importance in Islam. They affirmed that visiting these Islamic and historical landmarks in Madinah enriched their spiritual experience and deepened their understanding of Islamic history.

The program's guests expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance for the religious and cultural programs provided, as well as the care, hospitality, and excellent organization they experienced. They noted that these arrangements enabled them to visit the most significant Islamic and historical sites in Madinah in a spiritual atmosphere with comprehensive services.
