Islamic Affairs Ministry holds religious lessons for King’s Umrah guests in Madinah

The Sharia Committee at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has conducted educational lessons and awareness messages on the rules and regulations of performing Umrah rituals for the third group of guests under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Umrah and Visit Program. The sessions were held at their residence in Madinah before their departure to Makkah.

These awareness programs aim to familiarize the guests with the religious rulings related to Umrah and to enable them to perform their rituals correctly, as part of the ministry’s services for program participants during their stay in the Kingdom.

The Sharia Committee continues to implement its programs throughout the guests’ stay in Madinah and Makkah, offering scholarly lessons and responding to religious questions, inquiries, and fatwas related to the rituals.

Lessons are delivered according to the guests’ groups and nationalities, with interpreters available in several languages to ensure the messages and religious guidance are conveyed clearly and accurately, helping guests understand the rulings associated with Umrah rituals.

The third group of the program includes 250 male and female pilgrims representing 23 African countries: Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Senegal, Guinea-Conakry, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Niger, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Chad, Tanzania, Djibouti, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Angola, and Mali.
