More than 40 agreements and initiatives at the Riyadh Biotech Summit will boost modern medical technologies and accelerate local drug development, an academic says.

Speaking to Al Ekhbariya TV, he added that the estimated value of these agreements exceeds 5 billion riyals (SAR), covering a wide range of fields including research and development, investment, and advanced therapeutic technologies.
The Riyadh Biotech Summit was held from September 14 to 16, organized by the Health Affairs of the Ministry of National Guard, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, and King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Investment and the Future Investment Initiative Foundation.
