On Thursday, Civil Defense announced that a resident was killed and a Saudi woman and a Pakistani resident were injured after shrapnel from a drone launched by the Houthi militia fell in Taif following its interception and destruction.
The Civil Defense spokesperson said the shrapnel caused the death of a Yemeni resident and injured the Saudi woman and the Pakistani resident, noting that the latter is in critical condition.
He added that the incident also resulted in material damage to several buildings and vehicles, and that relevant authorities have implemented standard procedures for such cases.
