Saudi Red Crescent boosts emergency readiness for LEAP 2026 in Riyadh

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Riyadh has enhanced its emergency preparedness along the routes leading to the LEAP 2026 exhibition by deploying nine ambulance teams, the rapid response unit "Ubayyah," and the mass casualty response bus "Uhud." This deployment aims to ensure swift response and effective management of emergencies on roads surrounding the exhibition venue.

This measure is part of the authority's plan to support major events in the Riyadh region and to increase ambulance coverage, thereby improving the safety of visitors, participants, and commuters heading to the exhibition.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority stated that it is utilizing its human resources, field teams, and necessary medical equipment to guarantee prompt handling of emergency calls and to enhance the efficiency of ambulance services in both directions on the roads leading to the event.

Additionally, the authority continues to maintain operational readiness around the clock, reflecting its commitment to emergency safety and its support for major events and activities hosted in Riyadh.
