Political analyst Dr. Faisal Al-Sumairi said Saudi Arabia’s air defenses are capable of intercepting missiles and protecting the Kingdom’s airspace.

In an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, he added that the Kingdom can intercept these missiles, with only debris falling to the ground, thanks to its experienced air defense forces. He also noted that Saudi forces have directly destroyed missile launch platforms in Sanaa, eliminated more than twenty missiles in Saada, and destroyed large weapons and missile stockpiles in the region’s caves.

He continued that the Houthi militia has created significant pressure and problems for Yemen and its people, pushing them back to the Middle Ages. He emphasized that hopes now rest on the Yemeni people, especially after the group drew global condemnation for targeting international navigation, trade, energy, and gas.

Al-Sumairi concluded that this conflict is a Yemeni-Yemeni war, and Yemeni leaders must prove to the world that they are ready to liberate their country, having received advanced military training and technology.
