French President Macron departs Riyadh, deputy governor bids farewell

French President Emmanuel Macron and his accompanying delegation departed Riyadh on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.

Macron was seen off at King Khalid International Airport by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region.

Also present at the farewell were Patrick Mizonaf, France’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Fahd Al-Suhail, Agent of Royal Ceremonies.
