Saudi Passports Authority issues over 25,000 rulings against residency and labor violators

The General Directorate of Passports announced it had issued 25,310 administrative decisions through its committees in various regional passport offices during Muharram 1448 AH, targeting citizens and residents found in violation of residency, labor, and border security regulations.

The authority explained that penalties imposed on violators included imprisonment, financial fines, and deportation, depending on the type of offense committed.

In this context, the Passports Directorate stressed to all citizens and residents, including business owners and individuals, the importance of not transporting, employing, harboring, concealing, or providing any form of assistance to those violating residency, labor, or border security regulations, including helping them find work, housing, or transportation.

The directorate also urged everyone to cooperate and report violators of residency, labor, and border security laws by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom, emphasizing that all reports will be handled with complete confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
