Border guards in Jazan arrest six Ethiopians for smuggling 120 kg of khat

Land patrols from the Border Guard in Al-Daer sector, Jazan region, have arrested six Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations and attempting to smuggle 120 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed, and both the suspects and the seized materials have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, or by emailing [email protected].
