Emir of Jazan leads 96th Saudi National Day celebrations

Emir of Jazan Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz on Tuesday evening led the region’s celebrations marking the 96th Saudi National Day, held at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center in Jazan city.

During his tour of the accompanying exhibition, the emir viewed a collection of photographs documenting the reigns of Saudi kings, alongside patriotic displays highlighting the nation’s founding, development, and achievements across various fields.

The event featured poetry recitals, a theatrical performance titled "حكاية عز", a national operetta called "Master of Nations," and traditional folk art displays. The festivities concluded with the Saudi Ardah dance, in which the emir participated, blending cultural heritage with expressions of national pride and reflecting elements of the Kingdom’s cultural identity.

Local residents joined the celebration dressed in national attire and waving Saudi flags, engaging enthusiastically with the songs, poetry, and folk performances. The event showcased the deep significance of the occasion, as people expressed pride in the Kingdom’s history, achievements, unity, and ongoing development under its leadership.
