Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli prime minister's visit to Syria, calls for end to violations

Saudi Arabia has condemned the Israeli prime minister's entry into Syrian territory, describing the move as a violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a breach of international law.

In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Kingdom strongly condemns and denounces the "illegal entry" of the Israeli prime minister into the Syrian Arab Republic, stressing that this constitutes a "blatant violation" of Syria's sovereignty and unity, and a "flagrant breach of international law."

Riyadh emphasized the need to halt Israeli violations and transgressions against Syrian territory, and called for adherence to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, in order to help maintain regional security and stability.

The Kingdom also reiterated its support for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, affirming its firm stance against any infringement on Syrian land.
